You are responsible for using the service in compliance with applicable laws, professional obligations, and any notice or consent requirements that apply to your jurisdiction, clients, prospects, or staff.
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information. We may share information:
- With service providers that help us host, secure, support, and operate the platform

All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
6. SMS and Mobile Messaging Privacy
If you explicitly opt in to receive informational text messages from LegalVoice or a LegalVoice-operated program, we may use your mobile number to send appointment details, intake-form links, support updates, or other service-related messages. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
We may collect your mobile number and SMS consent through two primary paths:
- Website form opt-in: you submit your mobile number through a LegalVoice web form and separately check an optional SMS consent box.
- Live scheduling call opt-in: you call to request a consultation, provide or confirm your mobile number during the call, and agree to receive appointment-related texts such as confirmations, reminders, or intake-form links.
These messages are intended for transactional and customer-care purposes related to the requested legal consultation workflow and are not meant to authorize unrelated promotional marketing texts.
- SMS consent is not a condition of purchase.
- You can opt out at any time by replying STOP.
- You can reply HELP for help or contact us at legal@legalvoice.app.
- We do not share, sell, rent, or disclose mobile numbers, text messaging originator opt-in data, or SMS consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
- We may send these messages from a central LegalVoice-operated number while identifying the relevant legal consultation workflow in the message body.
7. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal or contractual obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain security records. Retention periods may vary based on the type of data, your account settings, and applicable law.
8. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information in our custody, including encryption in transit and at rest where appropriate. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
